Dear Brothers and Sisters: Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ. As the time table for a debate and vote on the disastrous Obamacare bill nears reality, the blogs and papers and television and radio are filled with opinions both pro and con on this one and one half trillion (to start) dollar bill. We have become inured to the word trillion, what is it 1,000,000,ooo,000. some wise mathematician said that if you staked $20. bills one on top of the other it would reach the moon.

We as Catholics are mandated to engage in Social Justice. So if hanging a $9,000,000,000,000. dept on our children and grandchildren and great ( ---oh well there wont be a USA by then ) something we can call Social Justice? Remember that all this is to take care of the approx. 6 million citizens who do not have health care. Again, fix health care so that those who do not have it get it and let the rest of us work out tweaking those problems in the World's best health system that need tweaking.

We Americans tend to forget rather rapidly; President Obama, when a senator in Illinois, voted to let babies that were born after a botched abortion lay unattended and die. He voted against a bill that would make this practice a crime. He did not want to upset his Pro-Abortion supporters. It seems to me a person who would allow a child to lay unattended and die would find a way to keep his record on the destruction of innocent life going.
