A Country of Fools
understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.
of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to
limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the
necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to
have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more
serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming
the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of
fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama,
who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude
of fools such as those who made him their president.”

Robot bartender
noticed that the bartender was a robot. The robot clicked to attention
and asked, "Sir, what will you have?"
The man thought a moment then replied, "A martini please."
The robot clicked a couple of times and mixed the best martini the man
had ever had.
The robot then asked, "Sir, what is your IQ?"
The man answered "oh, about 164."
The robot then proceeded to discuss the 'theory of relativity',
'interstellar space travel', 'the latest medical break throughs',
etc........
The man was most impressed. He left the bar but thought he would try a
different tact.. He returned and took a seat. Again the robot clicked
and asked what he would have? "A Martini please."
Again it was superb. The robot again asked "what is your IQ sir?"
This time the man answered, "Oh about 100". So the robot started
discussing Nascar racing, the latest basketball scores, and what to
expect the Dodgers to do this weekend.
The guy had to try it one more time. So he left, returned and took a
stool.... Again a martini, and the question, "What is your IQ?"?
This time the man drawled out "Uh..... bout 50".
The robot clicked then leaned close and very slowly asked,
"A-r-e

p-e-o-p-l-e

From The Lid: Ten Stories not reported by the Liberal Media
This is the time of year for lists, everything from the best movies of the year, the top news stories of the year, best political quotes, etc. The list that few if any outlets report is the one of stories that were important and should have received wide-spread coverage, but were ignored by the mainstream media. Reports that would show the other side of an issue, and the lack of reporting is just more evidence that the mainstream media is in the tank for the progressive movement. What follows are my picks for the ten most important under-reported political stories that in 2011.
10. Chief Medicare Actuary Rips Obamacare In House Budget Committee Testimony - Richard Foster, the chief actuary of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (the guy in charge of crunching the Medicare’s numbers) testified before the House Budget committee in late January and said that Obamacare would not suppress healthcare costs nor would it allow people to keep their present providers, a contradiction of the promise that Obama made to us.
9. Kathleen Sebelius Admits The Obamacare Books Were COOKED. They screamed, they begged, cajoled but everyone called them liars. Ever since the outline of the Obamacare began to be circulated people pointed out that the $500 billion dollars of Medicare savings were being double counted in the cost estimates.
In early March the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee heard testimony from HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Representative John Shimkus (R-IL) asked about the double counting of the $500 billion of savings which seemed to still helping the bottom line of Medicare and contributing to the funding of Obamacare. He asked Sebelius which program was supposed to receive the benefit of that Medicare cut, she answered, “Both,” admitting that we had been lied to for the past year.
8. The STUXNET Virus, Is Queen Esther Saving the Jewish People From Persia Again? Computer Scientists who are analyzed the Stuxnet virus found file name that seemingly refers to the Biblical Queen Esther. The first directory inside the virus is named “Myrtus,” a reference to the myrtle plant. The Hebrew word for myrtle is the root of Hadassah which is Queen Esther’s Hebrew name. Given that another Persian, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad makes constant threats against Israel, that use of Myrtus could indicate a Jewish or Israeli involvement, or maybe a heavenly partner.
7. NASA Gets Caught Faking Climate Change Data: The consensus of global warming predictions is that the seas would rise about 3 feet because of climate change in the 21st century. But satellite data proved that the first decade of the 21st century sea level grew by only 0.83 inches (a pace of just 8 inches for the entire century). Even worse there has been no rise since 2006. So the scientists at the University of Colorado’s NASA-funded Sea Level Research Group did what any other self-respecting global warming alarmists would do, they fudged the numbers. They simply added .3 millimeters per year to its Global Mean Sea Level Time Series. Now they could report that the sea level rise was accelerating, instead of what was actually happening--decelerating.
6. Cowardly President Obama Refuses To Address The Key Middle East Issue In May, the President made a major speech about the Middle East. He made demands about Israel returning to the 1949 armistice lines but didn’t make any demands of the Palestinians to recognize Israel as the Jewish State. He called Israel a Jewish State, and he called for the Palestinians to recognize Israel’s right to exist, but he didn’t address the fact that both Palestinian President Abbas’ Fatah party and the Hamas party refuse to recognize Israel as the Jewish State, which is the most elementary of issues in this 63-year-old dispute. If Obama doesn’t have the courage to definitively call for the Palestinians to make this basic acknowledgement, can he really expect the Palestinians to do it on their own? And without that recognition, none of the other issues will be resolved.
5. A Heck-of-a-Loophole: Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, Owes $1 Billion In Back Taxes In August, Billionaire friend of Obama, wrote an op-ed in the NY Times urging our government to stop coddling the super-rich and support Obama’s position that the rich should pay more taxes. What Buffet neglected to say is his own company; Berkshire Hathaway owes the federal government more than $1 billion in back taxes, a noted by Auditors in the Berkshire annual report. Perhaps Mr. Buffett should read his own annual report before he tells rich people to pay more, since he looks a bit foolish when his own company is not paying enough.
4. Congresswoman Maxine Waters-Obama is Only The President of the African-Americans In Maxine Waters’ warped mind President Obama hasn’t screwed up the economy, he has only screwed it up for Black people. On the day the President was to make his major jobs speech in September, Waters complained that the first Black President has not shown enough love to African-Americans.
“There are roughly 3 million African Americans out of work today, a number nearly equal to the entire population of Iowa. I would suggest that if the entire population of Iowa, a key state on the electoral map and a place that served as a stop on the president’s jobs bus tour were unemployed, they would be mentioned in the president’s speech and be the beneficiary of targeted public policy,” Waters told POLTICO, “So, one question to be answered this evening [during the speech] is, are the unemployed in the African-American community, including almost 45 percent of its youth, as important as the people of Iowa?” I guess equality is not in Maxine’s dictionary.
3) Congressman Steve Israel Betrays the Jewish State For Politics The fifth most important Democrat in Congress, who represents part of Long Island, Israel claims to be a huge supporter of the State of Israel and other Jewish causes. His deeds however, do not back up his words. While he has signed letters with other Congressman, not once has he stood up publicly to criticize the Obama administration’s anti-Israel policies. When the President was trying to legitimize the anti-Israel group J Street, Steve Israel obeyed orders and lent his name to the organization so they could recruit more people to its convention, he takes campaign dollars from Parviz Lavi, a man convicted of selling arms to Iran, and supported the very anti-Semitic Occupy Wall Street movement. With friends like Steve Israel, who needs enemies?
2. Obama’s Class Warfare Tactics Makes For Good Speeches—But He Isn’t Being Truthful. According to the IRS in 2009 (the last time they released these numbers) households making more than $1 million will paid an average of 29.1 percent of their income in federal taxes, including income taxes and payroll taxes, households making between $50,000 and $75,000 paid 15 percent of their income in federal taxes, households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will pay an average of 12.5 percent of their income in federal taxes and households making between $20,000 and $30,000 will pay 5.7 percent. So what is the president really saying when he says people should pay their fair share.
1. Climategate II Emails Show US and British Gov.s Colluded With Scientists to Suppress Data That Would Disprove Global Warming. Just before Thanksgiving, more than 5,000 emails were leaked online as a follow-up to the first set of Climategate emails released two years ago. The emails written by government officials and some of the world’s leading scientific proponents of the global warming theory show a systemic suppression of evidence, reports being “blessed” even though scientists knew they were using approaches that deviated from scientific procedures and even worse, direction by people in the United States and British Governments to some of those scientists to hide evidence that would dispute the global warming theory. If we are going to enact oppressive climate rules, which will hurt the worldwide economy while spending $37,000,000,000,000 world-wide to clean up “global warming” shouldn’t it be based on real scientific evidence, not selective reports which in aggregate work to sell a theory which at best is unproven, and at worst may very well be the biggest fraud perpetuated on mankind?
Those are my top ten, if I had more room there would be another fifty added to the mix. My Mom, of blessed memory, used to say there were three sides to every story, “his, hers, and the truth.” What you generally see in the mainstream media is only one of those sides. You must seek out other sources, such as the Jewish Star for other sides which get you closer to the truth. My Mom, whose birthday was 12/27, would insist on it.

DEALING WITH REGRETS
Dear Friends this list is from one of my favorite blogs: Click Here or use the following:
http://politicsandfinance.blogspot.com/2011/09/do-you-have-any-regrets-17-ways-to-deal.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+blogspot%2FZhbQ+%28The+Political+Commentator%2917 methods for dealing with any of the regrets in your life!
Inspiration Thursday from TPC
We all have regrets or things we wish we had never done or done differently. Jobs that we wish we had never taken or never left or maybe the same with some relationships. A real estate investment that we wish we had never bought or stocks we wish that we had never sold or that we had sold a year ago. It can go on and on.
To not have any regrets is actually impossible because even doing nothing in the hopes that nothing will ever go wrong (omission versus commission) can be a regret in and of itself!
I found these 17 ways for dealing with regrets at a financial blog but these thoughts are really universal!
1) Ask yourself, “What am I doing TODAY?” Today is the day we care about. Where we can improve ourselves, help people. Move forwards. What are you doing today? This is a good mental discipline. When regret comes up about yesterday, ask yourself, “What am I doing TODAY?” Practice this. Then practice it again.
2) Make friends. Make sure you don’t talk about your regrets with your friends. Are your friends trying to improve their lives? You can be inspired by them and they can be inspired by you.
3) Don’t judge people. The other day I wrote about a dinner I went to. I was surprised how many people wrote me disparaging the IQ of one of the people at the dinner even though they didn’t know that person. In order to judge someone you don’t know you have to have a lot insecurity and ego. It’s hard to get rid of that insecurity. One way to do it is to never judge people. Particularly people you don’t know. That’s a good way to practice not judging yourself.
4) Honesty. Honesty can lead to wealth. Being honest also helps you avoid denial about your regrets. Stop blaming others. It’s important to realize that many things don’t work out and often; it’s your fault. I was often in denial about both of those things. They are both truths.
5) Laugh. Watch a funny movie. When I was going through a period of deep regret I watched the movie “Superbad” probably about 20 times in a row and I wish I could say I am exaggerating. That movie saved my life. Laughter reduces stress, brings you to today and helps to leave behind yesterday.
6) Deal with Failure. When I was a kid everyone told me I was a genius. Expectations were really high for me. It was extra hard for me to realize later on that I was far from it. Everyone had told my dad he was a genius also. When it came time for his regrets he couldn’t get over it. It sunk him like a bag of cement in the ocean and he never swam again. I’m always afraid to be like him. It’s ok to fail. Hey, what are you doing today?
7) Good will. Practice this: everyone you see on the street today – wish them well. Wish that they all make a lot of money and have a lot of health and that they are all having passionate sex with someone tonight. I never watched that movie “the Secret” but I imagine this is the real Secret: wish enough people good will and eventually good will happen to you.
8) Stop being brainwashed. A lot of my posts (don’t go to college, don’t own a home, abolish the Presidency) are there because I like to think in opposites. Some people write me and say, “are you just trying to be sensational?” No! I’m trying not to be brainwashed all the time. I know that with 10,000 ad and media impressions hitting my eyes every day that I am constantly being brainwashed by the Zombie Recruitment Machine. Training your mind to think in opposites helps you avoid being brainwashed. This includes reducing the number of ad impressions and media impressions you see each day. Replace that time with time with friends. Or time sitting by yourself. The more brainwashing, the more regrets.
9) Should have, could have, would have. These are never useful phrases. Even when analyzing a situation that led to a regret (and it’s important to analyze your losses). Instead of saying, “I could have done X” (a regret) say, “Next time I’m in a similar situation, I’ll do X”. If you know you’re never going to be in a similar situation then no reason to do the analysis. Historical is hysterical. What are you doing today?
10) Don’t deal with Crappy People. I don’t care if you have to see them every day. At the dance I see every girl but I don’t have to dance with every girl. Don’t dance with the crappy people. Always check yourself on each interaction – did I just dance with them? You don’t need them to like you. Who cares if crappy people like you?
11) Don’t drink. I know a girl who is filled with regrets. “Was I bad to my ex-husband?” “Did I eat too much?” “Did I miss this opportunity?” I asked her, “What did you do last night?” She tells me she hung out with people she’s constantly trashed to me in the past, she ate at the fanciest steakhouse in town, and she drank and had a hangover in the morning. I said, “can you stop doing that?” And she was honest and said, “I don’t think so.” That was one of the last times I spoke to her. I used to drink all night with her. I know what it’s like. She won’t be able to stop the regrets. People don’t usually give this as advice because it’s so built up into our culture to have a drink occasionally. Fine, have a drink occasionally. But the drug is a depressant so just limit the number of depressants you put in your body.
12) List the positives. List all the good things that came out of the moments you regret. If I had never lost all my money a decade ago I never would’ve started other businesses, this blog, I never would’ve met all the amazing people I’ve met since. I never would’ve met Claudia. I never would’ve had the relationship with my daughters I have now. I probably wouldn’t be living right by the river, in relative peace.
13) Mourn. We often regret actions we’ve done that caused us to lose things that were important to us. In most traditions, there’s a mourning period when people die and then you are told to move on. So mourn for those things that were important to you. Mourn the money you lost or the people who left you. Pray that everything works out for the best. Give yourself a time period for mourning. Then move on.
14) Look to your left and look to your right. When I was in school a common refrain used by professors was, “look to your left and look to your right. One of the people you just looked at is going to fail this class.” You can do the same here: look to your left and look to your right. Both people you just looked at have done things they later wished they could undo, have done things they deny in order to survive the pain, have done things that have cost them severely. Just acknowledging that helps you to deal with your own regrets. We’re all trying to be happy. We all have expectations that are probably too high. We all do stupid things along the way. It’s not the stupid things that make us worse people; it’s how we deal with them afterwards. What are you doing today?
15) Sorry. Say “I’m sorry” when you can. It doesn’t matter if your apology is accepted. That’s the other person’s issue. But if you say you’re sorry, you’ve at least acknowledged that you’ve made a mistake and you’re ready to move on. If you regret something you did to yourself, say you’re sorry to yourself. Accept the apology. Try to be friends again with yourself.
16) Eat What You Kill. Reduce reliance on others. Even a boss or a job. Learning how to eat what you kill will reduce the things you will later regret. It will also force you to focus on what’s going on today instead of the past. Else you don’t eat.
17) Be passionate about your work. If you aren’t, then quit. Don’t blame the recession or the job market. Those are media myths. They aren’t about you.

President May be in "Deep Trouble"
President May be in “Deep Trouble”
This will be an interesting turn of events if it does come to the surface.....
Our President May Be In Deep Trouble...with Chief Justice John Roberts, U.S. Supreme Court.
According to sources who watch the inner workings of the Federal Government, a smack-down of Barack Obama by the U.S. Supreme Court may be inevitable.
Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issue violations.
Every President, including Obama, takes an oath of office to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God"
However, Critics have complained that much, if not all of Obama's major initiatives run headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal government and especially when he deliberately issues presidential edicts ignoring and downplaying the power and authority of Congress as stipulated in the United States Constituiton.
Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political ads during the time of an election....further asserting that this promotes campaigns could receive monies from foreign companies and governments which could therby increase the campaign revenues and could decide the outcome of the election. Afterall, Obama knows this first hand since he received millions of dollars from organized unions, Saudi Arabia and other Arab nations during his own election!
The tongue-lashing clearly did not sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not true,' when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling. As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity, and so on. Obama hates criticism and being exposed for his mistakes and who and what he truly is. He has a diety complex and usually blames others but himself for any shortcomings.
And it is no accident that the one swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.'
Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled, in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A ruling against Obama on any one of those important issues could potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long overdue.
First, there is the infamous ObamaCare pushed through without anyone even knowing what was in it! Now people are beginning to read it and finding that it blatantly violates the Constitutional principle barring the Federal level Government from forcing citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as individual states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits FEDERAL government, not state governments, from such things, and further, the States' regulations is that all car owners and drivers only must have insurance not every citizen. So healthcare coverage is a matter for the individual states to decide as prescribed in the U.S. Constitution.
Not everyone drives a vehicle or has to drive a vehicle, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the ObamaCare world, however, every citizen, man womean and child, throughout the USA, MUST buy health insurance by the Federal government, and cannot opt out, PERIOD.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the murky birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number issued in the state of Connecticut which he used to get school aid, registering as a Indonesian foreign exchange student, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii applying for college student loans. The press scutinizes Michelle Backmann's migraine headaches and other backgrounds of opposing GOP party nominees but had never looked into Obama's past with the same scutiny.
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona . That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls. A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies. This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There's also the latest scandal expose' about the Justice department authorizing deadly hand weapons be sold to the Mexican drug cartel.
Things do not look good for this adminstration and their multiple illegal attempts to side step the U.S. Constitution. It is the function of the Supreme Court under the U.S. Constitution to interpret the the U.S. constitution and to examine laws and rule on such matters to determine if they are or are not in viloation of the Constitution.
That is the U.S. Constitution, the law of the land, which all presidents take an oath of office to "preserve, protect and defend, so help me God!"
To violate this oath is actually an impeachable offense.

Priceless
I can't think of a better word than "PRICELESS" FOR THIS. . .
I hope the picture will go through for you - of this Army soldier in Iraq with his tiny 'plot' of grass in front of his tent. It's heartwarming! Here is a soldier in Iraq , stationed in a big sand box.
He asked his wife to send him dirt (U.S. Soil), fertilizer, and some grass seed so that he can have the sweet aroma, and feel the grass grow beneath his feet. When the men of the squadron have a mission that they are going on, they take turns walking through the grass and the American soil -- to bring them good luck.
Of all the things he could have asked his wife to send to him from home...........he asked for American soil. WOW.

Albert Einstein Quote
Dear Brothers and Sisters: Here is a quote that needs to be read and pondered since we now have a President in the White House who no longer values the American Way. We have fought wars to keep Socialism from our shores and now, because of the lack of education on the part of the people we have a Socialist in the White House.
Only the Church stood squarely across the path of Hitler’s campaign for suppressing truth. I never had any special interest in the Church before, but now I feel a great affection and admiration because the Church alone has had the courage and persistence to stand for intellectual truth and moral freedom. I am forced thus to confess that what I once despised I now praise unreservedly.
- Albert Einstein, Time magazine, 23rd December, 1940 p. 38″
